On line ordering will continue as normal as we’ve found that postal and courier services seem to be operating normally. When we pack orders we take hygenic precautions by washing our hands and sanitising surfaces.
Is it safe to receive parcels by post/courier? This is the official response being given out by World Health organisation ‘ Yes. The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low. ‘
We shall continue to communicate with our customers through newsletters, posts on Instagram and Facebook.
We are a small Fair trade business and we need sales to survive. In addition the suppliers that we buy from, small projects and businesses in Africa, need sales more than ever to enable them to continue. Some have already gone into lockdown as health services in rural areas, where most of our suppliers are, would struggle to cope.
