Description
This beautiful lidded laundry basket was made by hand by one of our talented weavers in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana.
The grass used to make it grows wild and is gathered and prepared ready to be woven over several days to make a truly useful, strong and eco-friendly accessory for your home. The handles are covered with thin leather.
It is about 43cms in diameter and about 50cms tall.
It could be used to store all manner of things: gloves hats and scarves, spare blankets, toilet rolls and, for all the craft workers out there, craft materials, works in progress or projects.
